ATRI / Jalkanen Foundation Scholarships Available
The Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute (ATRI)
and the Jalkanen Foundation announce educational scholarships for education in
aquatic therapy or rehab. The scholarships range in size from $100 to $400.
Scholarships are given to aquatic
therapy practitioners who, for some reason, would not be able to attain needed
continuing education or stay in the field of aquatic therapy and
rehabilitation. This may be due to special needs, being single parents, having
experienced physical or emotional trauma, or other similar special situations.
The scholarships will help practitioners
get education so they can continue to serve others. Scholarships given by the
Jalkanen Foundation (a non-profit charitable organization) for ATRI events will
be matched by ATRI. Scholarship winners will also receive a free swimsuit from
H2O Wear.
To apply, click on Scholarship
Application (below) and follow the directions. The deadline is
September 1, 2010.
