COURSE DESCRIPTION: 

What kind of training is necessary for older adults? Weight training, endurance training, and fall prevention are all essential. During this training program, we will concentrate on active and fast movements (aerobic anaerobic exercise), easy and small movements (moving small joints and core muscles), and directing fun and voluntary exercises to make dopamine. The water is kind to the joints and muscles, and itŐs fun! Older adults will want to make this program a part of their daily exercise routine. This program is a stretching essence of health.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES: 

 

FACULTY:  Etsuko Taimura, ATRIC, has been a manager of YourSports, a well-known swim and fitness club in Japan. She has spent 20 years teaching swimming to older adults and people with disabilities.
