COURSE
DESCRIPTION:
Practitioners of the Bad Ragaz
Ring Method will be able to practice and learn advanced handholds and
sensory-motor cues to emphasize stability throughout specific active treatment
patterns. Help your client develop stability through quality neuromuscular
sequencing. We will examine a select Bad Ragaz
Pattern to inhibit, stabilize, facilitate and strengthen stabilizing
musculature. Bad Ragaz aquatic therapy is to be used
in conjunction with other rehabilitation therapies for the best functional
outcomes.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1) Demonstrate
use of sensory-motor cues with an isometric and isotonic contraction.
2) Modify
handholds/contact to recruit muscle firing in weakened muscles.
3) Practice
PNF exercise components for muscle strengthening, timing, and coordination of
muscle sequencing.
