COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course brings a new therapeutic approach from Japan for lower extremities. It is called Active 3 and is used in concentrated rehabilitation. It uses three basic movements with floatation to decrease pain, increase ROM, and increase function.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1)  Describe guidelines of Active 3 and discuss common outcomes.

2)  Experience assessment tools in the water and on land. 

3)  Determine active care after discharge.

  

FACULTY: Takuya Oshio, RPT, MS, ATRIC, graduated from Shinshu University School of Medicine with a degree in sports medicine science. He is an AEA and ATRI National Trainer in Japan.
