COURSE DESCRIPTION:

BioExercise is an innovative new program that is grounded in science, exploding with ways to move the body, and engages all the senses. Combine activities for the body and mind to improve total body functionality while learning to define and track outcomes to personalize results. Learn key strategies that incorporate brain boosters with purposeful movement to fast-track results. In this workshop, we will focus on the hip and the knees and we will go in-depth on exercises to improve functionality, strengthen and lengthen the muscles involved and have fun!

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1)  Explore some of the highlights of the BioExercise Program.

2)  Experience the opportunities in water and on land.

3)  Determine the possibilities for hips and knees.

4)  Incorporate brain boosters to enhance total mind-body functionality.

5)  See the fast results!

 

FACULTY: Katrien Lemahieu, MSEN, ATRIC, has 20-plus years of experience in aquatics and has been a presenter worldwide since 2005. She studied physical education and holds a degree in Special Movement Education with an emphasis in Motoric Remedial Teaching and a focus on pediatrics. She has developed three e-learning programs on aquatic fitness (AquaMagicMoves) and is CEO of two educational institutes for aquatics: Kataqua for aquatic fitness and ProOZo for swimming. She is the organizer of the annual European Aquatic Fitness Conference (EAFC).
