The new buzz-word in therapy, rehabilitation and prevention is Hypopressive. Initially, hypopressive exercise lowered the intra-abdominal pressure to decrease pressure on dysfunctional pelvic floors. However, it has grown to be much more than pelvic floor rehab. Learn this innovative hands-on, non-invasive approach to rehabilitation, therapy and prevention in an integrated system that, through posture and breathing, can be applied to the entire body. Discover the 10 P’s in Hypopressives.
1) Maintain five basic positions for hypopressive exercise.
2) Explore at least three variations to the basic positions.
3) Perform the diaphragmatic breathing used in hypopressive exercise.
4) Determine the hypopressive apnea used in this technique.
5) Examine the many applications for the implementation of hypopressives.
