2608 – Body/Mind Ai Chi
Intermediate / 3-hour Workshop
Faculty: Ruth Sova, MS, ATRIC / Donna Lewen, BA, ATRIC / Patty Henry-Schneider, MS, LPC / Barb Batson, AS
Learn physical movement, breath work and spiritual development techniques that can be implemented prior to teaching Ai Chi, to ultimately increase the Ai Chi instructor’s vibrational rate. As a result, your program will not only affect the body, but the mind. Myofascial meridians, Chinese Meridians, Yin Yang Theory, visualization and meditation will be implemented along with breath work. The Ai Chi Visualization Journey changes the Ai Chi focus and takes the Ai Chi experience to a different level. It is a body/mind healing experience. In the lecture you will hear an explanation of the Visualization Focus with its four pathways (Preparing, Healing, Cultivating and Applying). Ai Chi Visualization was created in response to practitioners who wanted ideas to deepen their teaching and for Ai Chi participants who wanted advanced relaxation techniques they could use on their own. The energy flow unimpeded, flowing into the Ai Chi patients/clients.
1) Increase the outcome for Ai Chi participants.
2) Explore how to eliminate congestion with proper breathing, movement, and the Chinese Meridian Systems working together.
3) Discover techniques to decrease your body’s reaction to stress though gentle movement to calm the vagus nerve.
4) Considerations will be discussed regarding the energetic influences of the Ai Chi Instructor, as well as myofascial meridians.
