The ATRI elist/Bulletin Board is an information-sharing tool, open to all professionals wishing to learn and exchange ideas and techniques in the field of aquatics. Each member of the elist offers a different perspective to the aquatic therapy discipline and is an integral step in a client’s road to recovery. Each posting should demonstrate professionalism and respect toward all Bulletin Board members.

elist Guidelines
1. Posting a message
a. Send your message to the following email address elist@www.atri.org.
b. All messages should include the sender's name and return email address. This will allow members to  reply to the sender directly rather than the whole group when necessary.
c. Please make your subject line as specific as possible. This allows members to decide whether or not the message is something they would like to open and take time to read.
d. Messages should reflect content that is of interest to the members of the group. Personal messages to one individual should be sent privately to that person and NOT posted to the list.

e. Comments of a political or religious nature are prohibited.

f. Attachments are NOT allowed to be sent to the elist.
2. Responding to a message
a. If you would like to respond to the whole group simply hit reply, draft your message and send. This allows for excellent information sharing.
b. If you only want to respond to the individual sending the message, you will find the email address of the sender in the 'From' area of the message.
c. When responding to individuals, i.e., "Thank You", "Job Well Done", "Great Job", please email the individual directly rather than through the elist.
d. When asking for copies of things or more information about a topic, please email the individual directly rather than through the elist.

First time Elist tips:
~ Your email response or question will go to everyone on the email list, including you.
~ If you join the list in the middle of a discussion or question, you may only see someone's answer, but not the question. If you would like to know the question, inquire on the list for a history of the discussion.

Auto Respond: If you have Auto Respond on your email, we ask that you do NOT use it if you are subscribed to the elist. If you choose to use Auto Respond, please unsubscribe from the elist before using it. You can always re-subscribe to the list after you turn off Auto Respond. If you use Auto Respond while subscribed to the elist, every message sent to the list will go to your inbox, generating an auto respond, which then goes to everyone, including you & generates another auto respond, and another.
